Painting - Oil On Canvas, Digital
Description
An Oil Painting that is of a Metaphorical Interpretation of the 2nd day of Creation in the Book of Genesis. I created the Seven Days of Genesis in a more "Abstract" way with various energy and cloud formations along with bright colors to visually depict what I see when I read the verses of the Bible in the book of Genesis. This was an experiment to paint only what I "see" with my mind's eye and soul after praying for guidance when I painted these pieces. The overall project took several months to complete, but the final result were well worth it. I wanted to keep one of the originals for myself. Alas, All of the 36" x 48" in size paintings that were gallery wrapped canvases sold. I can only make prints and if I tried to re-create the images, they would come out looking completely different. It is vastly important to act immediately on the inspiration when it strikes and that's what I did once I forced myself to paint these as I did have a deadline that would feature these paintings for an upcoming Show where I was granted the privilege of displaying my work with a world famous Sculptor named Thomas Durham. I was proud of the work I ended up with and you can still acquire a print, giclee, or any of the other offerings that FAA offers. Thank you for your time. Please give a LIKE in the upper right corner if you see this. I'm now working hard to finally promote my works across the world.
