Description
My Painting of a hanged man in a swamp at night - based on a "real" ghost story from Wadmalaw Island in Charleston, SC. He was hanged in 1922 for being a black man that dared to love a white woman when she actually loved him as well. Racists killed him and to this day, you can either "see" a hanged man or he might be standing on an old dirt road "waiting" for you.
